At CIBA, our team is comprised of knowledgeable and experienced employees that are dedicated to leading our company to success. 

Bob Rheel

Robert Rheel has been the CEO since 2021 and has served on the CIBA Board since 2019. His extensive knowledge and expertise as a leader in the insurance industry has propelled the company forward with the use of data and analytics and shift towards client-focused relationships. As part of his corporate leadership and executive roles, he also has oversight of the claims handling division, Claims Adjusting Group, Inc. (CAG), CIBA’s MGU, and ABIC (a Bermuda Captive ). He has served on various other industry boards including the Workers' Compensation Research Institute, California Workers' Compensation Institute, and California Workers' Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau.

Robert has over 40 years of leadership and management experience in the insurance industry. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Insurance from The College of Insurance in New York City.

Andrew Aldorisio

Andew Aldorisio joined CIBA in 2023 as Senior Vice President, Head of Product Development. Andrew's rich experience in the insurance landscape, spanning 15 years, makes him a key driving force behind CIBA strategy to further build a successful & innovative product offering and to grow segments that cater to the evolving market demands. Prior to CIBA, Andrew was the Chief Underwriting Officer for a Fronting/Hybrid company. He has also served in other senior roles, including Alternative Markets which includes captive, underwriting leadership, and program management.

 

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, History, and Sociology from Rutgers University.

Julie Sharp, Senior Vice President, Support Services, leads our company’s data intelligence unit including the management of databases and the coordination with carriers and brokers for reporting and analysis. Julie's passion lies in enhancing workflow processes and implementing solutions to meet departmental needs. Her experience with CIBA dates back to our early years when she served as President & CEO of Specialty Business Services (SBS), the data warehouse and document processing contact for CIBA. SBS merged with CIBA in 2008.

Julie has over 25 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship & Entrepreneurial Studies from Loyola Marymount University.

Michael Kennick

Michael Kennick has served on the CIBA Board since 2010 and is the President of Claims Adjusting Group, Inc. (CAG), supervising counsel for CP Law Group, and general counsel for CIBA. He specializes in premises and property owner liability with over 20 years of experience. In addition to managing the Property and General Liability divisions of CAG, Michael oversees all California litigated liability claims defense, provides counsel to CIBA, and oversees regulatory compliance for CIBA. His relationship with CIBA dates back to 2000, when he was CIBA’s outside panel counsel for litigated liability claims. 

Michael holds a JD from Whittier College School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was admitted to the California State Bar and the United States District Court in 1987.

Aimee Westcott

Aimee Westcott joined CIBA in 2021 as Controller. She oversees accounting operations, manages accounts payable and receivable, and leads financial statement preparation and audits. With over 25 years of senior-level experience, she has a background in audit facilitation and has held CFO and Controller positions at various companies. She leads the department with an acute attention to detail along with a focus on continuous improvement.

Lisa Qiang

Lisa Qiang, Broker and Market Relations Manager, leads the company’s efforts to enhance broker experiences and support growth goals through webinars, training, and consistent communication. With over eight years of marketing experience, and 10 years in the insurance industry with CIBA, Lisa has helped shaped CIBA's visual identity and crafting CIBA’s image in the industry. She is dedicated to improving and promoting the CIBA brand experience and CIBA’s recognition in the marketplace while also leading marketing efforts to strategically position new services and features for continued growth.
 

Lisa holds an Associate in Arts Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Northcentral Technical College.

Ayida Boyajian

Ayida Boyajian brings over 25 years of experience in property underwriting to her role as a Senior Vice President, Underwriting. Leading the unit since 2019, she fosters strong client relationships, oversees wholesale accounts, and manages a team of Retail and Wholesale Underwriters. Prior to her leadership role at CIBA, Ayida worked as a high-producing underwriter, where she gained extensive knowledge about the CIBA Program.


Ayida holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Phoenix.

Amy Lochmoeller

Amy Lochmoeller serves as the Human Resources Manager and Corporate Secretary at CIBA. Since 2018, she's managed HR functions, overseeing compensation, performance management, and benefits. As we embrace the remote and hybrid work environment, she is leading the group’s efforts to create oneCIBA, a performance-driven culture that connects each employee through collaboration and common goals to drive CIBA towards success. Amy also leads grant activities as Director for CIBA Foundation. 

Amy holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Capella University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Music Business and Marketing from Belmont University. She has maintained her PHR certification from the Human Resource Standards Institute (HRCI) since 2018.
